Work and School

I have a new job! It's pretty awesome. I'm working as a income tax preparer and I love it! There is so much for me to learn and it makes me want to go back to college and take economics. I was always intimidated by economics before because I thought it would only be a bunch of numbers, but it's really very interesting. There are a lot of other classes that I would like to take, so I'm gonna try to take some classes next semester.
Speaking of classes, my husband is taking classes at MCC this semester, but he's going to finish his bachelor degree at ASU.

Winter Fruit, Babies, and Golfing Lessons

There are several citrus trees here and we have had fruit like mad . There are too many lemons and limes to eat, but it amazes me every time I use them how much fresher they taste than the freshest at the store. The oranges are so sweet and there is something so wonderful about eating fruit you just picked off the tree. I think it tastes the best that way.
In September two of sisters-in-law, and a
friend of mine, all had babies. I was knitting booties like mad. There are two boys and one girl, but I just took a picture of the last two pair I made. The first boy booties I made blue with pom poms on the ends of the draw strings. They are really cute too.
My husband took me to play my first game of
golf on Saturday. It was so cool, and frustraiting! Ha ha. Well it's different hitting balls off the grass and pin rather than hitting them off a mat.

By Permission to View Only

Sorry everyone, I had to make my blog viewable by invitation only because someone I don't know kept posting comments and it was creeping me out. I put too much personal information on here to feel comfortable with just anyone reading it. :)

New Years

Happy New Year! We went to my sister-in-law's house Wednesday night and watched the new Hulk movie. It was really good! We had shrimp, chips and dip, hot chocolate, soda, and peanut butter blossom cookies. It was fun.
New Years day we went to see Yes Man at the theatre with my brother-in-law. It was a really good movie; I'd like to see it again. It was a good New Years Day movie cuz it made me think about how I'd like to live my life more fully this year. I made about three resolutions and I left them pretty general so I will be able to do them. :)
