Mourning Our Loss

Black Bart, our black moor fish, died last night. He was almost three years old. Jon bought him to befriend another oranda gold fish we won in a game night at our singles' ward when we were first dating. So, he's been in the family for years! I already miss him. Maybe it's silly to miss a fish but he was our first family pet and he had a fun personality... Yes, he had personality and that's probably why I liked him so much. (I usually don't like fish at all.) Bart's left a little hole in our already small family now, but I just can't think of getting another fish. We'll just have to wait to get a new pet until we can keep a dog. The End.
