Wow I LOVED Anne of Green Gables. It's one of those books I just want to hug when I finish reading it and nothing sounds good enough to read for a while. I just was to put it in my pocket and carry it with me where ever I go. I heard the sequals were not very good; it is a tragic shame, there are some books you want to keep going but sometimes it's better if they don't.
I'm going to read The Story of my Life by Helen Keller next, and then maybe Cyrano de Bergerac. I need to read Mansfield Park too. I've read all but one of Jane Austin's books (not including the unfinished ones) presently I just don't feel like reading Jane Austin. I love Wind in the Willows because it is so imaginative and reminds me of the magic of childhood, and Pippi Longstocking is a wonderful book too. I like to read these books that waken my imagination and childhood memories, they remind me how wonderful life is and what interesting things there are to be discovered. I feel it's extremely crucial to keep those dreams and curiousities and ambitions alive. I have so many books on my To Read list! It's always fun to see lists shrink but I'm trying to enjoy the journey most of all.

St. Patricks and Spring
I'll be looking for a new job to get me through the rest of the year, I keep hoping this Depression we're in will at least subside in the work field so I can find something to get Superman and I through college. We are also looking for an economical cute little apartment we can share with my brother, so if anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears! :)

Superman Loves Carmel Popcorn and Carrot Raisin Bread
Well, I've had the weekend off from work and it's been so nice to get to relax and be with my Superman. Last night I made Carmel popcorn, which his Grandma taught me to make, for him for Valentines day. He loves it! I'm so happy it turned out well. This morning I didn't have such luck. I made carrot raisin bread and I put it in at the temperature it told me to for the hour the recipe indicated to bake it, but when I pulled it out 10 minutes early it had already fallen and burned! That made me angry so I had to clean the kitchen. Thankfully the bread wasn't completely ruined and I cut off the burned parts and it still has good flavor. I will post the recipe but when I do I will definitely modify the bake time so yours won't be so disappointing. ;)
